The property holding company is intended to retain ownership of its land and buildings and receive rental income from operating businesses and individuals using its facilities. Property ownership is not automatically transferred into an operating enterprise.
Participation in one enterprise does not automatically confer ownership in another. Intellectual-property ownership, licensing and commercialization arrangements between the enterprises remain separately definable and subject to verified rights and definitive agreements.
